IMG_2472The garden, established in 2003, grew out of a joint collaboration between the District, The Greater Laguna Coast Fire-Safe Council, and Mike Parker Landscape.

Located at the District's headquarters, the garden is designed to show that landscaping can be fire-safe, water efficient, and beautiful all in one.

Visitors can stroll along paths lined with over 50 different colorful, California-friendly plants, exotic shrubs, and perennials, which were selected for their suitability to the local climate, low water use, and fire resistance.
